In the summer of 2024, I was blessed with the opportunity to participate in a 10-day dieta in Contamana, Pucallpa, Peru. During these 10 days, I refrained from making eye contact, touching, or communicating with others. I ate only two meals a day, free of sugar and salt, and immersed myself in Ancestral Ceremonies, honoring the guardians of the jungle who welcomed me into their home during this time of deep healing.

This was a period of profound transformation—a time when I confronted the darkest and most vulnerable parts of myself and reflected on how I connect with the world both around me and within me. I give thanks for this opportunity to grow and gain clarity.

This sacred space was held by my spiritual brother, Juan Carlos Taminchi, his beautiful family—Maria, Herson, Virginia, and Matias—and his partner, my spiritual sister, Harley Rose, who brought balance and calm to the space and to me with love and reverence.

Inti Yacu, gracias! My deepest gratitude to all who shared in this journey, to the family I know I have, who love and support me from afar. Aho to all my relations!
